Cash at bank and bankruptcy

As you go ‘through the door’ of gaining the protection that bankruptcy offers, I will let you keep up to $2000 in your bank account. Not all trustees allow this.

Once you have declared bankruptcy, you can save what you are entitled to keep from your wages so you can manage your regular living expenses. That includes buying household items, going on holidays and paying for school excursions.
