Nicholls & Co’s origins go back to April 1986 when a specialist insolvency practice was established at Wagga. In October 1986 we opened an office at Dubbo and on 1st July 1987 the practice commenced trading as Gagie and Nicholls. The practice opened an office at Tamworth in March 1988. The practice commenced trading as Nicholls & Co in 1993 when Richard Gagie retired from the practice. An office at Lismore was opened in October 1997 and an office at Bathurst in October 2007.

We Specialise solely in Insolvency Accounting. We do not perform any other type of Accountancy work.

• Accountants can refer Insolvency matters safe in the knowledge that we do not do taxation or general accounting work, and there is no prospect of the client changing to our firm.
• Solicitors can refer Insolvency matters safe in the knowledge that by referring an insolvency matter to our firm, the existing Accountant will not be upset. Nicholls & Co do not offer Taxation or Financial Accounting services.
• We provide a full Insolvency service, performing both Corporate and Bankruptcy administrations
• We are country based and have been providing Specialist Insolvency Services since 1986.
• We welcome enquiries from Accountants and Solicitors to discuss a clientʼs financial problems. We offer this service for no charge. If necessary we will also attend the Accountants or Solicitors premises to discuss the clientʼs financial problems. Again we will do this for no charge.
• We aim to provide a high level of service,  reflecting our sole specialisation in Insolvency  Accounting.
