From our experience, administering thousands of bankruptcies, it is very rare for a person to lose their job when they become bankrupt.
If you have concerns regarding your employment, we recommend you check your employment contract, talk to HR and check registration requirements with your industry body. Some industry bodies may have issue with you becoming bankrupt. If this is your situation, our observation is that most will limit your registration rather than cancel your registration. As bankruptcy is about solving financial problems and creating a foundation for your future, we do recommend you check the impact bankruptcy will have on your employment before deciding that bankruptcy is the right solution for you.
